Chambers Lake, high in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, is a natural body of water located near the headwaters of the Cache la Poudre River. Early irrigators modified the lake and built a dam in order to use the lake as a storage reservoir. Courtesy of the Fort Collins Museum Local History Archive
