Kim Bauer loves bicycles and she loves historic preservation. A recent graduate of the public history MA program in the Department of History at CSU, Kim has found a way to combine these two loves in her new blog Peddling Preservation. She explores the city of Denver by bicycle to find the hidden jewels that are the city’s historic sites. Kim uses her historic preservation training to research the history of these sites, document character defining architectural features, and place these structures into a broader historic context. And she does all this while entertaining her reader as well. Visit Kim’s blog, share it with friends and colleagues, and let her know what you think!
